What’s Going On

The friends finally received their new brewhouse on January 19th. Neither snow, nor rain, nor sleet, or ridiculously freezing temperatures could stop the crew from unloading the truck. We found a new level of determination and persistence deep within us and managed to survive the day without incident or injury. Jon proved once again that stubbornness combined with ignorance and sweat usually moves things into their proper places. For pics of the event click here.

Currently the friends are diligently assembling the remaining pieces of the brewery into its new home. We continue to meet the somewhat challenging requirements of settling in to our South Side address with a constant sense of excitement and dedication. The “new flatte” is taking shape and evolving almost daily into our lovely new home. Mark and Jon are back at it again, formulating not 2 but 3 varieties to launch their new Private Reserve series. This series offers the beer connoisseurs a “peek” into their private cellar. Most of these beers are high gravity, complex, well-aged products that will only be offered in limited quantities at exclusive locations. If you are interested in the “hard to find” premium beers of Europe, you don’t want to miss these.
